Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as gift shop, grocery store, spice store, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Springfield with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Missouri may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

This review is based solely on customer service alone. On my first visit- which may be my last - I haven't decided yet. I'd say my salesperson was more about rules than accommodation. It was my first visit. I had eaten at one of the affiliate restaurants and got a 10% coupon for the tea shop. If I want to smell a tea I should bring her the jar and she will open it for me. It's a screw off lid. Fine I can respect your wishes but im the only person in the store why do I have to come to You for you to open the jar?? Why aren't you standing here with me. Again first time visit - only customer in the store. I stroll the store and lay other potential purchases next to the tea she just measured out and I'm told this isn't check out you'll need to take it to the register. Just me and her. Ok. Sure. I'm looking at the ceramics and picked out 4 things. Do u ship? She says yes, but its easier for me if u order it online. Ok... I go to ck out $65 order. I cant find my coupon and she makes zero effort to correct that. Ok. Im annoyed. I go home and go on the website no ceramics at all. Just teas and spices. So I ordered it cheaper on Amazon. Great sales person - sai

I got a spoon for loose leaf tea and five sampler bags, their variety was huge. And they had so many cute, unique and beautiful tea pots, mugs, infusers. Their spice selection was impressive and I definitely want to go back.

I absolutely love this little store. All the spices you could want or imagine. They have an extreme amount of loose tea choices as well as tea bags. Not sure what you want? Try their 2/$1 sample bags. They have a large selection of tea pots including electric kettles if you prefer. They have all the accessories you need for proper tea making. They also have chocolate candy and tea candy, flavored and sugar free syrups, and date sugar. The best part of this experience is the phenomenal customer service. Very friendly staff and they assist with all kinds of information or brewing suggestions. A++
